Pretty Boy Floyd Movie

Pretty Boy Floyd MovieWayne Kramer has been hired to direct the crime thriller Pretty Boy Floyd. The script, written by Kevin Bernhardt, is based on the true story of Charles Floyd. For those who don't know him, Floyd was a notorious gangster and bank robber, who committed numerous robberies and other crimes around Kansas City and the Midwest in the late 1920s before his death in 1934 at age 30. There's no official release date yet for the film.

Plot:
"The story of the Depression-era bank robber, Charles Floyd aka Pretty Boy Floyd, his friendship with fellow gang members Adam Richetti and George Birdwell, long-burning love for his ex-wife Ruby Hardgraves, and his desire to get to know the son he never met."

A few words from Director about his take on the story of Pretty Boy Floyd:

"My approach is to bring 21st century style and energy to Kevin Bernhardt's meticulously researched screenplay without sacrificing the verisimilitude of the period or over-sensationalizing the characters themselves. At the heart of 'Pretty Boy Floyd' is a great love story about an outlaw on the run who can't stay away from the woman he loves, no matter how destructive the relationship is for both of them -- which ultimately leads to his demise."
